Evil Matt Cutts or Ignorant Fool?

What I am about to discuss has bothered me for a while here and I just had to make a post about it. I am just that bothered with it. It bothers me when ignorant fools present false information as fact and at the same time prove their ignorance, but to a beginner webmaster their information may appear valid. This bugs me greatly.

Now you are probably thinking I am referring to Matt Cutts. But this post is not about him but one of his enemies.
I am sure most of you are aware of Matt Cutts blog - Matt Cutts works for Google and is supposed to be a sort of mediator between Google and the webmaster world. It isn’t a bad idea except that Google wants to keep their engine spam free which means they may tell us things that aren’t entirely true such as the .edu/gov link value just so that certain factors won’t get spammed but that is not what my article is about so I won’t go into that.

Recently some nut created a site called evilmattcutts(.)com. This guy proves in every post that he is not sane let alone a seo. As I said before I disagree with different things Matt says but he isn’t a stupid guy and for that reason alone he works for google. Google hires smart people. He also doesn’t deserve this nonsense from a idiot like this. Let me quote some things this guy has said that shows his ignorance and insane ideas.

Why does my site get crawled but not indexed by Google?

Your site is trampled all over by those pesky little robots but the one labeled Googlebot seems to do nothing but eat up bandwidth. Should I ban Google or limit how much bandwidth it can use? When a robot crawls a site doesn’t mean they are gathering data to index in their giant databases of information?

Whatever you do DON’T ban Googlebot. It is like cutting off the life supply of your site. I have heard of people doing this and it makes me cringe. How could anybody be so stupid? Forgive me but even in my ignorant days I never thought up that one.

Learn how to get indexed in Google and what type of links pass value to your site.

How to Conquer Google for Beginners

I have been asked over and over for a guide to achieving high rankings in Google from the beginning, from scratch. This article series will cover everything from the basics of starting the site to the more advanced seo and link building information. This article series is not intended to be a end-all resource and definitely is going to miss something but it should give you all the info you will need to conquer any position in Google with a little money, a lot of hard work and patience. If you don’t have that especially the latter white hat seo is not for you. White hat takes hard work and patience but is well worth it.

Okay first of all we need to figure out what this site is going to be about. And no were not going to go check Google Adwords for high paying keywords. That is the fastest way to creating a dead-beat site. When starting your site money should not be the primary focus. If it will you are likely to give up after a little waiting and are bound to keep your visitors wanting something other than what you have. So when you start your site it should be targeted towards a topic you are very familiar with and/or have a passion for. If you don’t know that terribly much about the topic but are very passionate about it then run with it.

This article will show you how to create a successful site in weeks for any subject.

Cnet Editors Death Caused by Faulty Google Directions?

At ValleyWag a post was made about Google possibly causing the recent death of a prominent Cnet Editor by providing a dangerous direction plan with their online software.  Did James Kim actually use Google Maps?  If he did was it Googles fault he died? Is it true that Yahoo provides a safer route that would have most likely kept James safe?

First of all I feel kind of funny writing a article like this because the guy is dead but I think it is a whole lot worse that some guys have nothing better to do than come up with some story just to blame Google for an accident.   I think even if he did use Google that he would think blaming Google for his death is ridiculous. He was a smart guy and I can’t quite figure out myself how this all happened except that things sometimes happen that cannot be stopped by anyone.
